Tirupathi: Girl attempts suicide for being ragged

Tirupathi: Many acts are in vogue for anti-ragging. Nevertheless, they all get failed as far ragging in Universities is concerned. Many students go to the extent of committing suicide for being not able to cope up such a heavy pressure caused due to ragging.

In a similar incident, a student of Tirupathi agricultural student allegedly attempted suicide. The girl has been identified as Priyanka. She was reportedly ragged by the seniors of the same college for quite sometime.

According to the sources, she underwent a great amount of melancholy and subsequently attempted suicide. She consumed heavy dose of sleeping pills to commit suicide. She was found unconscious in her room by her colleagues who took her immediately to the hospital. She is now getting recovered. The management of the university has been trying to put out of sight this incident. Supporting the management, even the parents of Priyanka are also hiding the issue.
