New Delhi: Due to the efficacy of the Karnataka police, a teenage girl was rescued. The accused has been sent to the jail. According to police, seven months before a woman hailing from Bhagalkot in Karnataka received a missed call. She called that number back and learnt that it was a call from Sujoy Dey, a business man from 24 Parganas district in West Benagal. He continued calling her and dragged her into love with him. When the girl disclosed him that her parents were searching matrimonial alliance for her, he asked the girl to leave the home to join him at Bangalore. As guided by him, she ran from her home along with Rs 3L and 100gm gold and reached Bangalore.


They together left for Delhi from Bangalore. The man called her father after reaching there and demanded for Rs 10L. The victim’s father approached the Karnataka police, who discreetly dealt the case and found out their whereabouts. The accused has been arrested by the police. It is learnt that the accused completed his 10+2 and has been working in a T-shirt company and the victim is a class XII student.
