Choutuppal: Poverty drives weaves couple to suicide
Choutuppal: Early on Friday a weaver couple Ganji Chandraiah (58) and Ganji Ramulamma (50) have allegedly committed suicide. They were the residents of Swamulavari Lingotam village of Choutuppal mandal in Nalgonda district.
The duo has consumed the chemical used for dyeing the cloth to end their lives. The couple was survived by three daughters and a son. The couple was found dead when the youngest daughter returned home after finishing her intermediate exam. She informed the same to their neighbors who in turn informed the police. The duo in their suicide note mentioned that they were committing suicide as they could not cope with the situation due to heavy debts incurred by them. They urged their relatives to take of their children in that suicide letter.
