Caught For Malpractice, Degree Student Commits Suicide. A third year B Sc Computer Science student of P B Siddhartha College of Arts and Science committed suicide allegedly after being caught copying in the examination on Sunday.

Vijayawada: A third year B Sc Computer Science student of P B Siddhartha College of Arts and Science committed suicide allegedly after being caught copying in the examination on Sunday. He was a resident of China Ogirala, in Vuyyur mandal. Atluri Manikanta (20), son of Ramesh Babu, had appeared for the exam in the college on Saturday.
He was found with a slip in a bid to copy, when the college squad conducted a random check. Manikanta was prevented from taking the exam. At home Ramesh found his son awake, studying at around 1.30 am on Sunday. At 4 am, he did not see him. When a local resident informed him about location of Manikanta’s cycle at the Pulleru canal in China Ogirala, he rushed to the spot. Ramesh called for help and found Manikanta’s body around noon. P Krishna Mohan, SI, registered a case of death under mysterious circumstances. Meanwhile, students of the college took out a rally here on Monday, demanding justice.
