“Rahaman, who was staying at Kishanbagh, was arrested last year by Task Force sleuths on similar charges. After released from jail, he shifted to Mumbai with his family. A couple of days ago, he went to his native place. He managed to get fake currency notes of Rs 3 lakh by paying one Kajirul Rs 1.5 lakh. He came back to Hyderabad on April 27 and exchanged some fake notes in various shops. Efforts are being made to nab Kajirul, who is still at large,” the police said. The accused was handed over to Habeeb Nagar police station for further investigation.
