Hyderabad: On Wednesday morning, at Ramapuram check post in Rajampet mandal in Kadapa district, the forest department officials have seized Red Sandalwood logs worth Rs 50L. As many as 45 logs were seized from Lorries by the officials, added sources.
Many similar incidents have taken place in the recent times. Mostly, Kadapa district has been the nerve point for such crimes. It is alleged that with the involvement of the politicians only, such crimes have been at their peak. No follow up action is either presented by the media or otherwise also. Definitely it turns to be a key loophole for easy escaping of the criminal involved.
