The details have been given to the media.

Elizbeth, a software engineer at Accenture, made frequent visits to her friend Pooja Sharma’s residence in the last four months. During these visits, she used to lift off jewellery from their home, diverting the attention of Pooja’s parents. The repeated missing of gold ornaments from their home, made Pooja’s family members to lodge a complaint with the police.

The police have questioned the maid and other workers in the home. They concluded that they were not involved in the theft. Later, they have kept an eagle eye on the people who visited their home in the past four months. They suspected Elizabeth and inquired about her. During their investigations, it was known that Elizabeth’s father indebted a huge sum. Nevertheless, Elizabeth has been dwelling a luxurious life. They have held her as a suspect and interrogated. During the entire process, it was learnt that Elizabeth used to sell the robbed gold ornaments and with the cash gained from that she used to repay the debts, apart from purchasing luxurious goods for self. The police have seized gold worth 4.5L from her.
