Woman commits suicide over lover’s denial for marriage

Hyderabad: Tirumalgherry in Hyderabad has turned the spot of an alleged suicide of a woman who was a private school teacher. Bhagyasree Reddy, the victim, had been working as a private school teacher and was a resident of Saraswathi Nagar in Lothukunta. She was in love with Geethakrishna who originally hails from Visakhapatnam. When Baghyasree was studying in B.Sc (comp), Geethakrishna was doing his M.Tech. Their love was allegedly not accepted by the parents of Geethakrishna. Baghyasree had been pressurising him for their marriage for the past six months. He went missing to her, thereafter. Baghayasree was depressed over this matter and allegedly committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling fan.

The victims’ parents alleged that their daughter took that extreme step as Geethakrishna who once promised their daughter to marry despite his parents’ refusal has changed his colours. A case has been booked against Geethakrishna based on the suicide note of Baghyasree and the dead body of the deceased has been sent to Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem.
