Visakhapatnam: Married woman attacked with acid

Visakhapatnam: At Goligonda in Visakhapatnam, Lakshmi, a married woman was attacked hard-nosed with acid by her own lover. The condition of the victim is critical as of now. She has been rushed initially to Narsipatnam hospital and later shifted to KGH hospital in Visakhapatnam for better medical treatment.

According to the locals, the victim got separated with her husband 10 yrs before and is survived by 3 children. She has been allegedly maintaining an extramarital relationship with the accused named Arjun. Recently, the duo was not maintaining attraction with each other, added locals. In the same context, Arjun might have poured acid on her, opined the locals. The accused has been taken into the custody of the police and has been interrogated. More details are awaited.
