Hyderabad: Cyberabad police has booked as many as 330 cases against violators of motor vehicle rules during a special intensive drive conducted on Outer Ring Road (ORR).
As a part of the drive conducted from July 12 to July 18, five patrolling vehicles were pressed into service from Peddamberpet to Shamirpet through Shamshabad. A total of 330 cases were booked.
Out of these, as many as 99 were booked for wrong parking and 231 for driving on wrong side. The authorities collected penalties to a tune of Rs 2.7 lakh, a release said.
