Hyderabad: A city court on Monday sentenced nine persons to three days simple imprisonment for consuming alcohol at public places and near wine shops violating the prohibitory orders clamped against consumption of alcohol in public places.
They were caught by the Commissioner's Task Force, Central Zone teams at Saifabad and Narayanaguda police station limits. The police booked cases under Section 188 (Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) of the IPC.
