Hyderabad: Krishna, a police constable, allegedly committed suicide at the Police Headquarters in Vikarabad in Ranga Reddy district. According to the police sources, the cop might have committed suicide bowing to the family problems. More details are awaited.
It is worth recollecting that before two months a police constable had attempted suicide for receiving a warning from the sub Inspector in Mahabubnagar district. Bhoopal Vagu, a constable at Wanaparthy police station in Mahabubnagar district, had caught a tractor load of sand red handed for being involved in an illegal act. The constable was allegedly warned by the Sub Inspector Ram Babu for the same. The constable got displeased over the matter and attempted suicide by consuming the pesticide then. Truly, such incidents pose a question about the proper functioning of the system.
