KCR’s former security officer shoots self

Hyderabad: The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Intelligence and Security Wing and ex- Security Officer to Telangana State Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself on Friday. According to Police, Suresh Rao shot himself with the service revolver at his residence at Khairatabad. He was found with bullet injuries in the chest. He was grievously injured and was then rushed to Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) where he was declared brought dead.

Police said they were investigating the reason behind the officer taking the extreme step. Sources said the officer hailing from Karimnagar district was not keeping good health for some time and perhaps was facing some personal problems.
