Sex racket busted; television artiste arrested

Chennai: With the grooming of technology, many other businesses have also equally groomed in the metro cities. Of those many businesses, the flesh trade is high-flying. A television artiste has been arrested by Chennai police for her alleged involvement in the flesh trade. The Chennai Police have busted a sex racket at the famous ECR and OMR IT Hubs in Chennai. The police have arrested as many as three accused including a television artist for trapping 5 girls hailing from Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Mumbai - and got them forcibly into the prostitution.

The police was informed by anonymous sources that few youths have made-up themselves as the IT professionals to trap the IT professionals of OMR and ECR IT hubs. It is learnt that 5 girls who arrived in Chennai for film offers were tactically trapped by a television artist in the pretext of getting them offers and forcibly got them into prostitution. The accused have been arrested and the victims have been sent to rescue homes. Security has been beefed up near the mentioned IT hubs, added sources.
