Hyderabad: An 8 months old infant was killed in a road mishap, early on Tuesday. A family who resides in Hyderabad and originally hails from Bhodan in Nizamabad district was on its way to Bodhan to participate in Intensive Household Survey.

Near Valluru, the car tyre got punctured and overturned. Five members sustained stern injuries in this accident. On the way to Secunderabad Yashoda hospital, the infant aged 8 months died, while remaining four sustained stern injuries. A case has been booked by the Chegunta police and investigating the case, said SI Srinivas. More details in the matter are awaited.

These days, mishaps have been on a rise. Let it be a mishap on the road or fire or otherwise, the main reason turns to be the reckless attitude of the people. There is a need to exact the situation so as to prevent the accidents. Surely, if timely preventive measures would have been adopted, most of the accidents could have been avoided.
