According to the Banjara Hills police, a Google techie, who was on his way to Shamshabad Airport, was attacked and robbed by as many as five reprobates, on Tuesday night.
Hyderabad: According to the Banjara Hills police, a Google techie, who was on his way to Shamshabad Airport, was attacked and robbed by as many as five reprobates, on Tuesday night. Vinay Bhaskar, the victim and an employee of Google, left for RGIA of Shamshabad along with his sibling Sudhakar at around 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
The duo was stopped by the accused five near Nova Hospital in Film Nagar. They were attacked and robbed. When Vinay Bhaskar told them that he had only Rs 1000, he was reportedly beaten by them. The victim who sustained stern injuries in this attack was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. The police booked a case and investigating the matter. More details are awaited.
