- Guwahati, September 8 : Railway police on Monday apprehended a jawan of CRPF with an illegal arms at Guwahati railway station, police said.
- According to reports, acting on a tip-off, railway police had launched search operation at Guwahati bound Amritsar express in Paltan Bazar railway station and nabbed a CRPF jawan with illegal arms.
- “We recovered a 9mm pistol in possession from Krishna Dubey, a CRPF jawan hailing from Bihar,” an official of railway police said.
- Police interrogated him to collect more information.
