Hyderabad: Actress Swetha Basu's mother has approached the court seeking the custody of her daughter on Wednesday.
She has reportedly confirmed that she would take care of her daughter from now on and be with her at all times. Swetha, who is currently in a rehabilitation home after her arrest on her involvement in a high-profile prostitution racket, expressed her consent to join her mother.
If Swetha has to be released then the rehabilitation home authorities need to submit a report to the court explaining her family position. Based on that and the arguments of the victim and the police department, the court would take a call on whether to release Swetha or not.
