Zaheerabad (Medak): The Town Police on Saturday arrested two persons allegedly involved in operation of ‘matka’ and selling of ganja. SIs Sivalingam and S Subhash told the media that Syed Nayeemuddin of Ahmednagar, near the town, and Mohd. Mahmood, of China Hyderabad village, were arrested.

The SIs said five kg ganja, four ‘matka’ books, two cell phones and Rs.15,000 were seized from the two arrested persons. Police officials praised constables M Chandrasekhar, Rahman, Satyanarayana and Nagender for their good work in nabbing the duo.
