House burgled in Old City; 20 tolas gold stolen

Hyderabad: A house was burgled, after the entire family left to attend a function, under Chandrayangutta police station limits on Sunday. Burglars decamped with 20 tolas of gold, Rs 1.5 lakh cash and other valuables.
According to police, the house of Syed Majeed in Al Jubail Colony, Falaknuma, was broke opened by burglars during early morning hours. The entire family had left to attend a function previous night, as part of wedding ceremony. Upon their return at 7 am, they were surprised to see that the lock of house was broken. They found 20 tolas of gold and Rs. 1.5 lakh cash missing, along with expensive clothing meant for marriage.
