Cops crack rolling mill owner murder case, The murder case of Md Abdul Rafeeq, 33, owner of Diamond Rolling Mill whose body was found in an open land near Pardhiwada, close to the mill, has been solved with the arrest of five persons on Thursday.
Hyderabad: The murder case of Md Abdul Rafeeq, 33, owner of Diamond Rolling Mill whose body was found in an open land near Pardhiwada, close to the mill, has been solved with the arrest of five persons on Thursday. Police arrested Syed Abdul Majid, 30, Samad, Saleem, Sheik Imtiaz and Md Ali, all residents of Hassan Nagar of Bahadurpura for murdering Abdul Rafeeq on October 29. “Syed Abdul Majid and Abdul Rafeeq know each other and had good relationship between them. Syed Abdul’s sister who used to visit Rafeeq’s house frequently gradually developed friendship. Her parents after knowing about the affair admonished the girl to stop seeing Rafeeq as he was married thrice.
Upset over parent’s decision, the girl tried to end her life by consuming poison. Hearing the news, Abdul Majid got humiliated and along with his associates reached Rafeeq's company and killed him by stabbing indiscriminately,” ACP (Shamshabad) R Sudershan said. Up on interrogation, the accused confessed to the crime, the ACP said adding that Abdul Majid's associates were involved in murder and Arms Act cases in the past.
