Hyderabad Boy quits studies to turn burglar

Hyderabad: A notorious bandit was arrested by the SR Nagar police, along with the Central Zone CCS team who was alleged involved in more than a dozen cases. The cops were able to recover booty worth Rs 30 lakh from the bandit. The accused has been identified as 22-year-old Avilineni Madhan Kumar.

Police said that Madhan dropped out his B.Tech education for crime to maintain a lavish lifestyle. According to police he often used to fly to Bangkok and spend money there, apart from living it up in Hyderabad.

Cops also arrested Madhan’s uncle V. Chidananda Chary and Mirza Mommin Ali Baig, a trader, for receiving the stolen property. Another accused called Srinivas, a pawn broker, is absconding.
