In a glaring protocol slip at the passing-out parade of 233 trainee police constables in local PTC, the name of Sub-collector Harinarayana was not mentioned by any speaker, including the other chief guest Cyberabad Commissioner C V Anand, SP Rajakumari, several officials and people’s representatives.

Vikarabad (Ranga Reddy): In a glaring protocol slip at the passing-out parade of 233 trainee police constables in local PTC, the name of Sub-collector Harinarayana was not mentioned by any speaker, including the other chief guest Cyberabad Commissioner C V Anand, SP Rajakumari, several officials and people’s representatives. He was also not given an opportunity to speak.

Speaking after taking the salute at the parade, Anand observed that a policeman’s job was toughest among all posts. He advised them to be alert in view of the increasing instances of communal strife. He said steps were being taken to strengthen the dial 100 set-up. Rajakumari spoke. As many as 756 constables have been trained in PTC in four batches so far.

Legislators Sanjiva Rao, Ramamohan Reddy, DSPs Buchayya, T Swamy, Ismail, Vikarabad ZPTC M Sharief and Vikarabad and Dharur MPPS Vijayalakshmi and Umaparvathi attended.
