Rave party busted, 30 arrested
Cyberabad police claimed to have busted a rave party here and arrested 30 persons, including eight woman dancers. “A Special Operation Team (SOT) of police raided a rave party in a guesthouse at Moinabad area here on Monday midnight and arrested 30 persons, including eight girls -- four from Mumbai and four from Hyderabad.

Most of the men were from Mumbai and had come to the city to attend a reception,” a senior police officer said on Tuesday. The semi-clad women dancers have been arrested on charges of indulging in obscene dance, SOT Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police E Ramchandra Reddy said, adding five cars and Rs 1.25 lakh were also seized from the guesthouse, beside liquor bottles and music equipments.
The organiser of the party, Dileep Jain, has been previously arrested from Jawahar Nagar in the city for similar offence, he said. A case was booked under relevant sections of IPC and Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act (PITA) and further probe is on, he added.
