Father commits suicide over son’s arrest
The arrest of a son led his father to commit suicide in Gowrelli village under Hayathnagar police limits, police said on Friday. Srihari, 26, son of Ch Narasimha, 52, whose engagement ceremony was due in two days, got allegedly embroiled in some case and arrested by police a few days ago.

Srihari, 26, son of Ch Narasimha, 52, whose engagement ceremony was due in two days, got allegedly embroiled in some case and arrested by police a few days ago.
Police said that Narasimha had been depressed and therefore decided to end his life to escape disgrace. “Narasimha left home on December 10 and did not return since then. Family members searched for him at every possible place and thereafter lodged a missing complaint with the police. He was later found hanging from a tree by passersby who alerted the police,” the cops said. A case has been registered under Section 174 (suspicious death) of the CrPC. Further investigation is on.
