Peddapally (Karimnagar): A woman killed her alcoholic husband in Peddapally town on Thursday unable to bear his physical torture and suspicion of her fidelity. Mahmood and Rahima were residing at Subhash Nagar along with their three children. Mahmood, who was a painter, used to spend all his earnings on drinking liquor. It has become a habit for Mahmood to beat Rahima frequently in an inebriated condition.
Mahmood entered into an argument with Rahima on Wednesday night over cutting a cake on the occasion of New Year. Rahima attacked Mahmood with an axe and killed him at 4 am on Thursday. Later, she surrendered before police. Peddapally Circle Inspector Prashanth Reddy said that a case was registered. Investigation is on.
