Youth ends life on hearing his father’s death, According to the local Circle Inspector Madan Lal, a 45-year-old Pariki Prabhakar, a farm labour, was electrocuted as he came in contact with a live electric wire while working in the fields early in the morning.
Warangal: A 22-year-old youth committed suicide on hearing news of his father’s death at Gudeppahad village in Atmakur mandal in the district on Tuesday.
According to the local Circle Inspector Madan Lal, a 45-year-old Pariki Prabhakar, a farm labour, was electrocuted as he came in contact with a live electric wire while working in the fields early in the morning.
Prabhakar was said to be working with Rajireddy a landlord in the village and went to fields to water the crop.
Unfortunately, he touched the electric wires placed in neighbouring fields to avoid pigs and other animals from entering the field.
On hearing the news of his father’s death, the youth P Praveen committed suicide at his residence by consuming pesticide.
Praveen’s mother and sister died three years ago and he was said to be under depression for some time. Praveen was also working as farm labour in the village. The police registered a case.
