Hyderabad: Air Intelligence Unit seized about 2.8 kg gold on Friday at the Rajiv Gandhi International airport in Shamshabad.

Reportedly an unidentified passenger, who was believed to be scared of the consequences have left the so called 'smuggled' gold in the flight.
According to sources, the gold was planned to be smuggled in a flight bound for Saudi Arabia. The accused was carrying about 25 gold biscuits with him/her and hid it under the seat.
Unfortunately for the smuggler the thought of being caught at the Security is too much to handle. However when the flight landed in Hyderabad, the accused was scared at the thought of being caught at the security check and left the gold in the flight. The AIU is yet to trace the passenger. Nobody has claimed the gold yet.
