Techie hangs self
An IT professional hanged himself in his apartment in Arunodaya Colony on Wednesday evening. Police said Samir Agarwal, 28, an Associate Lead at Sunera Technologies in Uppal and a native of Odisha, committed suicide by hanging himself to the ceiling fan at his Preethi Residency in Arunodaya Colony in Madhapur area around 4 pm on Wednesday.
Hyderabad: An IT professional hanged himself in his apartment in Arunodaya Colony on Wednesday evening. Police said Samir Agarwal, 28, an Associate Lead at Sunera Technologies in Uppal and a native of Odisha, committed suicide by hanging himself to the ceiling fan at his Preethi Residency in Arunodaya Colony in Madhapur area around 4 pm on Wednesday.
Sources said the incident occurred when the techie was alone in his room. After receiving information, Madhapur police rushed to the spot and conducted preliminary enquiry. The motive behind the youth resorting to the extreme step is yet to be established, said the cops.
The incident came to light when some of his friends found no response despite repeated knocking at his door. They immediately alerted the police who rushed to the spot only to find the victim hanging dead. A suicide note purportedly written by him was found in his room stating that nobody was responsible for his death, the police said. A case was registered under Section 174 (suspicious death) of the CrPC. Further investigation is on.
