Burglars decamp with gold, silver

Burglars struck at a house in Attapur under Rajendranagar police limits late on Sunday night and decamped with five tolas of gold, two kg of silver, a TV, a laptop besides two cell phones. The gang gained entry by breaking open the main door lock on the ground floor of the building located in Tejaswani Colony and made off with valuables, said the cops.

The gang gained entry by breaking open the main door lock on the ground floor of the building located in Tejaswani Colony and made off with valuables, said the cops.
The incident came to light on Monday morning when the owner, Basavappa, found the main door lock broke open and the valuables missing. Based on Basavappa’s complaint, a case was registered under Section 457/380 (Burglary) of the IPC. Police took up the investigation and pressed in finger print experts and dog squad for clues.
