Boy's Death Sparks Protest At Hospital

The death of a 5 year-old boy, who was undergoing treatment, sparked tension at Om Sai Hospital in Pahadishareef area on Wednesday morning.

Family members staged a protest outside the hospital alleging the negligence by doctors led to Nitin’s death. However, the hospital refuted the allegations.

The situation turned tense when the protesters barged in to the hospital and allegedly manhandled few members of the staff.

The angry mob also vandalised furniture and broke several glass window panes. Police rushed to the spot, pacified the angry protesters and brought the situation under control. They registered a case and started investigating.
