Pataas Lands In Legal Tangle

Hyderabad: A Complaint was lodged in Chaitanyapuri police station on Wednesday stating that the poster of actor Kalyan Ram’s movie ‘Pataas’ insults the National Emblem.

The three lions of our emblem have been insultingly depicted in the movie poster, said the complainant.

D Jayaprakash, in his complaint, mentioned that portrayal of such things could mislead the youth. Kalyan Ram’s smoking posture on the poster as well as skimpy outfits of the heroine standing covering the three lions of the emblem can misguide the youth, he said. He urged police to initiate legal action against the filmmakers.
