Hyderabad: A ten-year-old boy who was riding a bicycle near his residence on Monday morning died after being knocked down by a DCM van under Moinabad police station limits. “Vinay, of Chilkur village, who was riding the bicycle on the road tried to cut across the road on the other side when the vehicle hit him from the opposite side. His friends panicked on seeing him injured and informed the parents,” sub-inspector G Sanjeev said, adding that due to the impact Vinay died on the spot. Police have registered a case of negligent driving against the DCM driver, the SI said.
