Woman found murdered; father’s role suspected, A 27-year-old woman, Anitha, was found murdered at her residence in Vidya Nagar Colony in Jadcherla town on Thursday.
Mahabubnagar: A 27-year-old woman, Anitha, was found murdered at her residence in Vidya Nagar Colony in Jadcherla town on Thursday. Anitha, a native of Sheri Pally village in Bhoothpur mandal, was married to Yadaiah of the same village nine years ago. However, Anitha and Yadaiah developed differences after she gave birth to two sons. She shifted her home to Jadcherla town along with her sons and joined a private company to earn a living.
Anitha’s father Narayana used to stay in her daughter’s house. She used to quarrel with her father frequently over sharing of property. Narayana allegedly killed his son a few years ago as he used to pester him to transfer property on his name. Narayana also served jail sentence on charges of killing his son.
Jadcherla Circle Inspector Jangaiah said that Anitha quarreled with her father on property issue on Wednesday night. He said that Narayana was taken into custody on suspicion of killing Anitha. He said that police registered a case and took up investigation. District Additional SP M Malla Reddy visited the crime spot and inspected the house.
