One killed in road mishap

A motorcycle-borne 50-year old man was killed in a road accident on the outskirts of Alganur village of Thimmapur mandal here in Karimnagar district when a lorry hit coming from behind hit him.
Karimnagar: A motorcycle-borne 50-year old man was killed in a road accident on the outskirts of Alganur village of Thimmapur mandal here in Karimnagar district when a lorry hit coming from behind hit him.
According to police, Ram Lakhan, native of Shivapur village of Kandi mandal in Jharkhand and working as a supervisor in Padmavathi quarry of Thimmapur after completing his work was going to Karimnagar on a two wheeler.
A lorry coming from Warangal near the Durgamma temple hit him from back. He died on the spot.
The Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police (ASI) Mukanda Reddy registered the case and began investigation.
Police sent the body to the government hospital for post-mortem.
