Drunk father killed by teenage daughter in Ranga Reddy District

A man was beaten to death by his teenage daughter in the early hours of Friday at Manasa Hills in Rajendranagar.

Varikuppala Pedda Timmanna who always got drunk and picked up fights with his family ended up dead when his 13 year old daughter grabbed a stick and hit him on the head. Suffering serious injury to his head, Timmanna died. Police informed that the family of Timanna who hailed from Mahbubnagar District came to a relative Ramulu’s house who shifted them to Manasa Hills.

Inspector S. Venkat Reddy stated that Timnanna’s elder daughter hit him with a stick with a nail on it when he started quarrelling in a drunken state. As the nail pierced his head, he was found dead in a pool of blood on Friday morning.

A case under Section 304 for responsible homicide not amounting to murder was registered, based on a complaint. Police said that the minor had no intention to murder and wasn't aware the stick had a nail. The victim's body was later shifted to hospital for postmortem.
