According to police, Pavani had last seen near a provision store in front of her house on Friday around 9 am. Her family members desperately searched for her at every possible place known to them along with their relatives and friends, but could not trace her and later lodged a complaint at Golconda police station. Police launched search operations after receiving a complaint from her grandmother, J Bhanumathi. “It is hard to jump to any conclusion at this point that she might have wandered off or been abducted,” said an investigating officer. Further investigation is on.
