Hyderabad Driver stabbed to death in full public view near Bahadurpura
In a gruesome incident, a car driver was brutally murdered by an armed gang in full public view in the busy Bahadurpura area here on Monday morning. According to police, the victim Syed Nisar alias Asad, 40, a resident of Hassan Nagar, was going to his house at around 7.30 am. Suddenly, he noticed a five-member gang opposite Mir Alam Tank near Baba Kanta.

According to police, the victim Syed Nisar alias Asad, 40, a resident of Hassan Nagar, was going to his house at around 7.30 am. Suddenly, he noticed a five-member gang opposite Mir Alam Tank near Baba Kanta.
Anticipating trouble, Nisar attempted to flee from the spot, but the gang pounced on him and attacked him with deadly weapons. He died on the spot. Shops in the area downed shutters following the incident. After receiving information, a police team from Bahadurpura police station rushed to the spot where Nisar’s body was lying dead in a pool of blood. The body was shifted to Osmania Hospital mortuary.
Preliminary inquiries revealed that the deceased’s younger brother, Haider, a rowdy sheeter who was involved in two murder cases in 2010, murdered a member of Murtuza gang. This member was reportedly behind the murder of Nisar’s elder brother Zaffar near Himayath Sagar in the past, and that could have been the reason for Nisar’s murder.
The police officers suspected the hand of the Murtuza gang members in the crime. Based on the information obtained during interrogation, police said Nisar had been targeted by the miscreants for quite some time. A case has been registered under relevant sections of the IPC. Further investigation is underway.
