Two killed in road accident
Two persons were killed and five others were injured in a road accident that took place at Pasra in Govindaraopet mandal in the district on Friday. The accident took place when a Tavera vehicle collided with an autorickshaw on Warangal-Eturunagaram road. Fifty-year old Samarthapu Venkatalaxmi, who works as nurse at Govindaraopet Primary Health Centre, died on the spot.
Govindaraopet (Warangal): Two persons were killed and five others were injured in a road accident that took place at Pasra in Govindaraopet mandal in the district on Friday. The accident took place when a Tavera vehicle collided with an autorickshaw on Warangal-Eturunagaram road. Fifty-year old Samarthapu Venkatalaxmi, who works as nurse at Govindaraopet Primary Health Centre, died on the spot.
Another person Gunti Rajaiah (50), who works as executive officer at a Primary Agriculture Cooperative Society (PACS), died on the way while being shifted to hospital for treatment. Both the victims were returning to their homes at Pasra after completing duties when the incident occurred. When the accident took place there were seven persons travelling in the auto rickshaw. The injured persons, whose identity was not known, were shifted to local hospital for treatment. The condition of the injured was said to be out of danger.
