Hyderabad: The National Investigating Agency (NIA) produced Ajaz Shaik, the sixth accused in Dilsukhnagar bomb blast, 2013, before a local court at LB Nagar on Monday. The agency has produced Ajaz before the court on production warrant. As part of raising finances, the prime accused Riyaz Bhatkal had used Shaik to send the first installment of Rs 1 lakh in cash through hawala.

According to sources, the NIA had recently requested the government to transfer the cases to Ranga Reddy courts located in LB Nagar for logistical reasons and also from the security point of view. On this point of territorial jurisdiction, permission was accorded to the transfer of the two cases.

Meanwhile, police filed a petition before the court for 10-day police custody of Yasin Bhaktal and Ajaz Shaik.
