The postmortem report of Nabeel Mohammed, 17, who died under suspicious circumstances during a friendly street fight on May 3 at Panjesha in Mirchowk area, was handed over to Mirchowk police by the doctors of Osmania Hospital Forensic Science Department on Tuesday.

Hyderabad: The postmortem report of Nabeel Mohammed, 17, who died under suspicious circumstances during a friendly street fight on May 3 at Panjesha in Mirchowk area, was handed over to Mirchowk police by the doctors of Osmania Hospital Forensic Science Department on Tuesday.
According to sources, the doctors who conducted the postmortem, had concluded that Nabeel had sustained nine fatal internal injuries, including one at the temporal lobe area. Following which, a case under Section 302 (murder) has been registered against the nine accused.
Earlier on Monday, the doctors conducted postmortem on Nabeel after his body was exhumed from a graveyard in Barkhas. The postmortem was conducted after Nabeel’s father Mohammed Dastagir who suspected a foul play after seeing the video footage, registered a case with the Mirchowk police on May 10. In the video with the police, Nabeel was seen repeatedly punched on the temple and chest by Owais Patel.
Those who were taken into custody include Omer Baig who had organised the fight and Waseem Dollar who was acting as a referee. Owais, who had earlier defeated two boys, hit 20 punches on Nabeel, who collapsed. The boys shifted him to Durru Shehvar Hospital in Purani Haveli, where he was declared brought dead. A case has also been registered against the hospital for not informing the police.
