District Collector Kona Sasidhar directed the police to arrest four persons who were collecting money from people by selling them fake application forms for writing down their grievances on the occasion of Mee Kosam programme, which was held on Monday. On coming to know that they were collecting money from the citizens,
Anantapur: District Collector Kona Sasidhar directed the police to arrest four persons who were collecting money from people by selling them fake application forms for writing down their grievances on the occasion of Mee Kosam programme, which was held on Monday. On coming to know that they were collecting money from the citizens, he ordered the arrest of Rama Devi, Pedanna, Nagappa and Narasimhulu.
The Mee Kosam programme was organised to redress the grievances of the citizens. The Collector warned that stringent action would be taken against those employees who collect bribes. He cautioned people not to get misled by such corrupt staff and officials. He said that there was no need for written complaints and the people could go directly to the counters concerned and bring their grievances to the notice of officials.
