Hyderabad: The arrest of the TTDP deputy floor leader A Revanth Reddy and the party candidate Vem Nareder Reddy has dented the spirit of the TTDP. The party president N Chandrababu Naidu has so far not reacted to the incident, giving a chance to the TRS leaders to launch a vitriolic attack against the party and its national president.

Barring outbursts by the TTDP working president E Dayakar Rao and some rasta roko’s in Revanth’s constituency , there has not been any aggressive reaction from the TTDP. He said the party would lodge a complaint to the Election Commission on the whole episode of the election process.

He questioned the authorities the invalidation of his party MLAs votes on the grounds that the members chose NOTA ( Non Of The Above) option on the ballot paper. He saw a ‘political conspiracy’ in the counting of votes polled to TDP in the election.

Reacting to TDP’s criticism, TRS leader T Harish Rao lashed at TDP and its president Naidu. He said Naidu is known to be a betrayer and backstabber and now he has added another blot to his career. That was the reason why TDP leaders were quitting the party, he said.

The Lok Satta national president Jayprakash Narayan said political corruption, buying of MLAs and MPs, creating trouble in other political parties for narrow political gains has become the order of the day and TRS is no exemption.
