Two held in Falaknuma murder case
The Falaknuma Police on Thursday arrested two persons in connection with the sensational murder of the youth, Shaik Altaf Ahmed, 21, of Misri Gunj on June 2. Acting on a tip-off, police arrested Syed Hassan alias Chotu, 21, and Syed Yousuf, 25, both residents of Fatima Nagar, Vattapalli, on Thursday.
Hyderabad: The Falaknuma Police on Thursday arrested two persons in connection with the sensational murder of the youth, Shaik Altaf Ahmed, 21, of Misri Gunj on June 2. Acting on a tip-off, police arrested Syed Hassan alias Chotu, 21, and Syed Yousuf, 25, both residents of Fatima Nagar, Vattapalli, on Thursday.
Based on a complaint lodged by the victim’s father, Shaik Moinuddin, who suspected the role of Syed Hassan in the murder of his son, police registered a case under Section 302 (Murder) of the IPC and took up investigation.During investigation, Falaknuma inspector, Kiran Kumar arrested the accused persons and recorded their confession statements.
The accused admitted their guilty of committing the offence. The accused have been produced before the court.
