Jammu: A man has been arrested for his alleged involvement in smuggling of illicit country made liquor, police said.
During a surprise check near Satwari area, police intercepted one Shashi Paul, a resident of Jammu, and recovered 60 pouches of illicit liquor from his possession yesterday, a police officer said.
He said the accused was arrested from the spot and has been booked under various sections of the Excise Act.
