Father rapes teen daughter, girl refuses to abort fetus
A 14-year-old girl from Kanpur district has refused to abort the fetus after being impregnated by her father.

The girl who is five and a half months pregnant told the court that she would not abort the fetus and would give her baby to a childless couple or an NGO.
The doctors according to the reports informed that the girl is physically fragile. The girl’s father was sent to jail on July 16 on charges of raping his daughter while the girl, refused by her brother for shelter is presently staying at a shelter home in Swarup Nagar locality.
A social activist had taken the girl for medical examination where the doctors recommended abortion but the girl refused. Hence, the matter was reported to the police and the court is expected to take a decision by this week.
