Mumbai girl gang raped by drunk boyfriend and pals
A 16-year-old from Mumbai was allegedly gang raped by her boyfriend and his friends on Wednesday morning. The accused were arrested from the spot and remanded to police custody for the next three days after an alert rickshaw driver informed the police.

The girl had lied to her family about going to her friend’s house leaving home around 10 pm to meet her boyfriend and five of his friends. After meeting at a lottery shop that had started two days ago in the Tilak Nagar area, two of the boys decided to celebrate the shop opening with alcohol and dinner.
The girl was forced to consume liquor after which all the boys including her boyfriend raped her inside the shop for nearly three hours. While the incident came to light when a rickshaw driver saw two boys standing outside the shop and alerted the police.
Within half-an-hour, police raided the shop and rescued the girl who was unconscious when admitted to Rajawadi Hospital. The boys were arrested under IPC Section 376 and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POSCO) Act 4, 6 and 12.
