Hyderabad: The Commissioner’s Task Force on Friday arrested three persons involved in preparing of fake and forged educational certificates of engineering, degree, PG and MBA courses and seized 15 fake certificates. The fake certificates of various universities of Uttar Pradesh and other states were being sold to the clients at a price ranging from Rs 30,000 to Rs 50,000 by the accused.


According to police, the arrested were Manish Kumar (30), resident of Kachiguda, I Anil Kumar (30), resident of LB Nagar and Ch Satyaprakash (23), resident of Malkajgiri. Manish Kumar, the main accused was running business in the name of Ratna Study Solutions at Kishangunj of Siddiamber Bazar in Hyderabad.


He along with his associate Sahil, a native of Kanpur, had been preparing fake educational certificates of engineering, degree, PG and MBA courses. Modus Operandi involved saving of formats of all educational certificates. Later, the details of the clients were added using CorelDraw software for the printout.


The impressions and signatures were forged using fake rubber stamps. Along with the 15 fake certificates, one laptop and 2 fake rubber stamps of Register CCS University, Meerut (UP) and other material were seized.
