Vehicle lifter arrested
The Cyberabad police on Wednesday arrested a 22-year-old security guard from Miyapur on the charge of indulging in vehicle lifting offences and recovered nine bikes from his possession. During vehicle checking , the Madhapur police intercepted Aavala Durga Prasad (22), while he was moving suspiciously in the area.

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police on Wednesday arrested a 22-year-old security guard from Miyapur on the charge of indulging in vehicle lifting offences and recovered nine bikes from his possession. During vehicle checking , the Madhapur police intercepted Aavala Durga Prasad (22), while he was moving suspiciously in the area.
When the police asked him to produce the documents pertaining to the bike he was riding, Durga Prasad failed and tried to escape from the police. The police detained him for questioning and found that he was working as a private security guard in Madhapur and had been indulging in vehicle lifting offenses for the past six months.
So far, he stole nine vehicles from the limits of Madhapur and Miyapur police stations.The accused was arrested after recovering the stolen vehicles and was sent to judicial custody.
