Student dies doing I-Day rehearsal

Karimnagar: An eighth standard girl died while doing dance rehearsal on Friday for the Independence Day celebrations to be held on Saturday, it is alleged. This bizarre incident took place in Kummarapalli Model School of Velgatur mandal. Krishnaveni (13), a resident of Velgatur mandal headquarters, was pursuing VIII standard in the model school.

She has sudden attack of convulsions while doing dance rehearsal along with other students. Alerted school staff immediately shifted her to Dharmaram government hospital where she was declared brought dead. While the students presented in the spot informed that Krishnaveni was also performing rehearsals when she was had fits, school management said that she was not part of the troupe.
